Into the cave I drew,
A captive of my own ambition,
Greed had forged the chains I knew,
Blind to purpose, lost to mission.
In the cave, I toiled in vain,
For enemies my past had made.
The cost of pride was clear and plain,
A debt I never thought be paid.
In the cave, from scraps I claimed,
The remnants of a life I’d cursed.
What once had trapped me, now renamed,
Forging freedom from the worst.
In the cave, I forged anew,
A light within the blackest hour,
Not just a man, but something true,
A purpose born from newfound power.
In that cave, he came,
A heart of light, a frame made strong,
To take my ruin, shape my pain,
A savior in the dark all along.
Out of that cave I flew,
With heart of light and wings of steel,
No longer bound to what I knew,
Transformed by trials that made me real.
From that cave a light to carry,
A man made new by spark and flame.
Left behind the past be buried,
Sent forth to ever speak his name.
